Facial Cosmetic Surgery

Injectables/Fillers

Injectable cosmetic dermal fillers are a popular alternative to face lifts and other surgeries that aim to give patients tighter, younger-looking skin. Our cosmetic surgery practice uses various injectables to reduce surface wrinkles and give skin a smoother, firmer appearance.

Using injectables such as Juvederm XC, Radiesse or Restylane®, Dr. Jones carefully injects a dermal filler under the surface of the skin, causing fine lines and wrinkles to fill in and firm up the outer layer of skin. BOTOX® Cosmetic injections diminish fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing facial muscles to reveal smoother skin with less visible lines.  We now belong to the Brilliant Distinctions Program by Allergan which rewards patients for using Botox, Juvederm XC and Latisse.  Sign up for the program online and make sure to get a voucher or voucher # from us each time you get one of their 3 products at our office.  You will earn points from Allergan.  When you have enough points, you'll get certificates good for things like $25 off your next Botox treatment. You can also go online to the Latisse website and sign up for Lash Perks to earn points toward future Latisse purchases.  Our plastic surgery practice also uses injectable dermal fillers for lip augmentation. If you are coming in to be injected, refrain from using ibuprofen or another NSAID to help keep bruising to a minimum.  Also, if you start using Arnicare sublingual pellets 2 days before your procedure you can minimize your swelling.  We sell them at cost for $4 per tube.  Each tube will last for at least 2 procedures. We can use Radiesse to fill in hollow cheeks, improve the size of your chin, elevate your cheekbones and fill in small pre-jowls.  We can often help those under eye circles you get in your 30's, 40's and 50's.  Check out our Radiesse injection diagram and you will know why they often refer to this as a "liquid facelift" on television.

Face Lift

Face lift procedures are performed to repair sagging skin and tighten facial tissues for a firmer, fresher appearance. Our plastic surgery practice targets specific areas of the face through such procedures as the lower face lift, mid face lift, or brow lift.

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty, or a “nose job,” is a commonly performed cosmetic procedure that offers dramatic results. The procedure can be used to reshape a person’s nose to bring it into balance with surrounding facial features and create an attractive focal point on the face. Many people go through life feeling self-conscious about the shape or size of their nose, and rhinoplasty can offer functional, flattering benefits. Rhinoplasty can increase or reduce the size of your nose, alter the shape of the tip or bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils, or change the angle between your nose and your upper lip.  By repairing the bridge, nostrils, or tip of the nose, Dr. Jones can treat deformities such as a hump, crooked nose, or tip problems. Rhinoplasty can be performed to correct breathing problems or other issues such as a deviated septum.

 Ideal Rhinoplasty Candidates May Have:

  • A nose that is too large or too small compared to other facial features.
  • A wide nose.
  • A bump on the bridge of the nose.
  • A bulbous tip.
  • A tip that is enlarged, droops, or protrudes.
  • A crooked or off-center nose.
  • Excessively flared or pinched nostrils.
  • An asymmetrical or irregularly shaped nose due to injury.
  • A defect that causes difficulty breathing.


Eyelid Surgery

The skin surrounding the eyes is very delicate, and under-eye bags or drooping eyelids can make a person appear tired and older than he or she wishes. A relatively minor procedure, blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, can make a person look refreshed and years younger by removing excess skin from above the eyes and pockets of fat from underneath. Results can be especially effective when combined with another surgery, such as a brow lift or a forehead lift.
