Gluteal Augmentation

Dr. Jones has 2 different procedures he performs for buttock augmentation.  He performs both the Brazilian Butt Lift as well as buttock implants.  If you are interested in gluteal augmentation, please make an appointment with Dr. Jones for a complimentary cosmetic consultation where he can discuss the available options and provide an accurate price quote.

Brazilian Butt Lift

The Brazilian Butt Lift is the best procedure for someone who would like to enlarge/restore the full roundness of their buttocks and has enough fat that can be liposuctioned to achieve an adequate enlargement of their buttocks.  First, Dr. Jones will liposuction at least 2-3 areas to obtain enough fat.  If he will not be able to obtain enough fat, he may require the patient to gain some weight, so that he will have enough fat to provide the best result.  The Brazilian Butt Lift is his preferred procedure over buttock implants because he is using the patient's own fat, which gives both a more natural look and feel, but also has a much lower risk of infection.  The body will retain around 80% of the fat that is microinjected into the buttocks, so sometimes a touchup may be needed.  He usually tries to overfill the area slightly because of this, depending on the amount of fat obtained through liposuction.  The goal of this procedure is to have an improved body contour.  Through the redistribution of fat, Dr. Jones is able to make a significant improvement in all over body shape.   Correcting the gluteal contour by using liposuction to change the shape of the buttock region  from being square shaped to being more rounded (as well as a reduction in fat in the other areas like the abdomen, back and thighs), and then using lipoinjection to fill out areas.

Buttock Implants

Dr. Jones usually uses buttock implants exclusively on patients that have no body fat to liposuction.  Buttock implants, while able to provide more fullness and roundness to the gluteal region, also carry certain risks that the Brazilian Butt Lift does not.  Buttock implants have a greater chance of infection because of their being a foreign body.  They also can shift out of place requiring another procedure to restore symmetry.  Most importantly, they will not provide as natural a shape because of the solid silicone implant.  However, for some patients, buttock implants are the perfect solution.  Through the use of implants it is possible to get that high, round shape that many people are looking for.  Sometimes Dr. Jones uses a combination of both procedures.
